I’m a linguistics grad student at the University of British Columbia, having done my master’s and bachelor’s at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. I used to be a computer programmer in a previous life. I was born and raised in Alaska, in Anchorage and Wrangell. I am Tlingit; Deisheetaan naax̱, Kaaḵáakʼw Hít yeedáx̱, Shtaxʼhéen Ḵwáan x̱át áyá.
